OK, thank you, so it almost works. I still have an issue though with the "cygwin.patch" part. The phrasing in the description was vague, is this a file that was supposed to be attached but got "scrubbed"? Otherwise, where can this file be obtained?
The errors I get at this point are:
$ Running on platform : cygwin
Operating system : CYGWIN_NT-6.2
Error in startup script: invalid command name "exec"
while executing
"exec $env(XCRYSDEN_TOPDIR)/scripts/pwd.sh"
(procedure "pwd" line 7)
invoked from within
"pwd"

"set system(PWD) [pwd]"
(file "/xcrysden-1.5.60/Tcl/xcInitLib.tcl" line 54)
invoked from within
"source $system(TOPDIR)/Tcl/xcInitLib.tcl "
("eval" body line 15)
invoked from within
"eval [info body xcInit]"
(file "/xcrysden-1.5.60/Tcl/xcInit.tcl" line 575)
Thanks.

I have been using xcrysden with Cygwin for the last year or so. I have been working on upgrading my computer to the 64 bit version of Cygwin. I have installed all of the required files and components but xcrysden is exiting after the following lines: XCRYSDEN_TOPDIR=/XCrySDen XCRYSDEN_SCRATCH=/tmp
Does xcrysden work with Cygwin64 or am I wasting my time? If it ought to work, then what do I need to do differently for Cygwin64?
Thanks.
