short answer: no, it is a problem of your machine, not of quantum- 
espresso.
It is either in IPO = interprocedural optimization or whatever it means
(did you follow Lorenzo's advice? add -no-ipo to FFLAGS in make.sys,
clean, recompile) or in your mpif90 script or in your mpi libraries.
