absolutely. i consider using the real name and affiliation part of
the 'contract' of working with free (scientific) software. after all,
if people publish a paper with their work, they don't use an
alias for _that_, right?
finally, this correlates well, with derek's idea of having a collection
of papers published that use the codes in the QE package.
apart from the usefulness for newcomers, this list could be
extremely helpful in securing funding for people working on
QE as developers, as more usage and publications demonstrate
the usefulness of the work to improve the code.
this way everybody benefits.
